The holiday cottage is only a small distance from the Eden Project (15mins by car) providing a fantastic base for your short Cornish break.During the winter months there is ice skating in a very pretty setting.

Daphne Du Maurier Festival May 13 -22 2010
The Daphne du Maurier Festival of Arts and Literature takes place in and around the novelist's home town of Fowey in Cornwall and attracts an array of writers, performers and celebrities.
While the festival is held specifically in honour of the life and work of the author of
Rebecca, Frenchman's Creek and
Jamaica Inn (amongst others), it offers a full programme of music, theatrical performances, lectures, workshops, art exhibitions and walks, which celebrate both artistic creativity in all its forms and the beauty of the surrounding Cornish countryside.
